JLM Store's Sukajan Sizing Guide

The ultimate sukajan souvenir jacket measuring guide to know what fits you and allow you to buy the perfect jacket for you.

Our Sukajan Souvenir jackets are mostly preloved items or deadstocks from the makers themselves, thus, they have different sizes and most of the time, the jackets we offer here have only one (1) size per design. To help you in assessing if a certain Sukajan jacket will fit perfectly on you when it arrives, we have decided to come up with this guide / tutorial.

To start, get your favorite jacket and a measuring tape.

Measure the following parts as shown in the photos below:

Height, width, arm length (top) and arm length (bottom).

Please don't trust the fitting size of the maker's unless you are very sure and familiar with that brand - for example if you are sure that size M of a Brand A is perfect for you, please don't expect the same applies for every other brand that we have. Please keep in mind that while there are S, M, L or XL sizes written, they may appear smaller on Westerners due to the fact that mainly these sizes are geared towards and made for the average Asian body size. So if you are usually USA Adult Men's M, then maybe L or XL (one size or 2 sizes higher) would be safer bet for you. That may not be the general rule but sometimes it is the fact.

A lot of people are asking like this - "What is conversion of this jacket into US Mens or Womens? " - Honestly, we dont know and we don't care about the conversion either.  We are talking about absolute terms here based on our measuring system, that is why we are providing our own sizing system to make sure that we are talking about the same standards and speaking the same measurement language.

If you are not contented with that, just send us your fitting details and send a couple of pics, that should give us the imagination to give you a sound advice.

So if in doubt, please follow our comparison instructions regarding knowing your exact base measurements and compare that to the figures we have in the listing, that would be more empirical in determining and comparing if your measurements are within the fitting of the jacket you like. However if you have a Tailor Toyo size M Jacket before, then you can trust or expect that you can get the same fitting when you buy another design of Tailor Toyo for size M of that particular design or model. Still it is better to be sure by making sure your dimensions compare within the "approximate dimensions" we provided. Please have enough allowance in mind before buying so that you can be sure of everything before committing to purchase a product.

In short, please understand that size is relative from one brand to another, what maybe S for Westerners maybe M for the Asian body size so they are all illusion, let us get down to the digits and facts of measurements given in centimeters, if you are familiar more with inches or other measuring systems, please consult GOOGLE Sensei and do the conversion yourself, it is just as easy as typing "Convert 10 inches to cm" or vice versa. GOGGLE Sensei is the best and won't get you wrong.

Some people are even asking for inches conversions, please do help yourself and type it in Google and you get the exact answers you want.

Example: Height (64cm) x Width (52cm) x Arm length - top (74cm) x Arm length - bottom (50cm)

After getting the measurements, compare the numbers with the dimensions provided written on the product description. If there are no dimensions written on the page, you may contact us using this form (and don't forget to include the link of the item).

If by chance that you encounter Sukajan jackets with only height, width, and arm length dimensions, please take note that the "arm length - top" and "arm length" are just the same.

Before checking out, we highly recommend that you measure your on-hand jacket first and compare it with the Sukajan jacket that you like. The reason for this is very simple, we do not accept later on as a reason for returns for that matter the fact that "the jacket does not fit me" or things like that and to that effect. The idea is to determine your jacket's actual size and compare it to our sizing details and ADD or HAVE some additional allowances for possible differences before making a decision whether to take the size or the item listed here.

Here is the YouTube tutorial we made for this purpose solely:

If in doubt, please send us the following details / information about you:

1) A cropped body photo of yours, including your build (slim, average, muscular or big such like that)

2) Tell us your preferred fitting either of the following (just, slim fit, loose, extra loose)

3) Any other specifications or requests of your needs

It would help if you can send us your weight and height as well so we can imagine and advise you properly regarding the fitting as well.

Here is our contact form and details. This is the best way to determine and consult with us the fitting of the sukajan or jacket of your choice then.

We are providing all possible terms and means to allow our clients not make a mistake and make the best decision and judgment as much as possible. Thank you.
